This project takes a multi disciplinary approach with entomologists working in synergy and social scientists, ecologists, epidemiologists, engineers, educationalists and industrial partners.
A commitment to capacity strengthening, particularly in partner institutes in Africa, is a key objective of AvecNet. We are making significant investment through delivering numerous short training courses, supporting six PhD studentships and via mentoring to create an enabling environment.
AvecNet activities are divided into 10 work packages (WP) each managed by a leading expert in their field.
